June Sun Heats Up Myrtle Beach

The Grand Strand Airport recorded 96 degrees on Saturday, greater than a record of 92 degrees set in 1950. The record high temperatures drew many beach-goers. Crowd enjoyed the steady off-shore breeze combined with mild ocean temperatures. Ice cream from The Cherry Grove Pier also helped keep everyone comfortable. Air temperature today will be more comfortable with highs in the 80's and continued off-shore winds. Need more incentive to come to the beach?
