Life Skills Through the Game of Golf

Brunswick County, NC, has 6 schools participating in the First Tee Program this fall, and Horry County, SC, ten. While programs vary, the first lesson in Brunswick (how to introduce themselves to others in a foursome) moved quickly to attempting holes-in-one. With everything from character education to physical skills to golf rules coming at them every two weeks in this program, kids are becoming better human beings through First Tee.
