Popular TV Host Doubles as Apparel Spokesperson

ESPN’s Charlie Rymer will be in the area to host the Fa’Tass Invitational inaugural golf tournament being held November 29-December 2. The two-day event, co-sponsored by PGA TOUR Superstore, Dr. Pepper and Budweiser, will be held at Thistle Golf Club and The Dye Club at Barefoot Resort & Golf. Golfers participating in the invitational will be flighted by handicap and weight. Each participant has been asked to bring a new toy to give to the Myrtle Beach Toys for Tots campaign.

Fa’Tass is a new sports apparel company targeted towards men who wear sizes XL, XXL and XXXL. The Fa’Tass line features stylish, high-quality shirts, pants, shorts and outwear for a demographic Rymer believes was not being adequately serviced. The company decided on a Myrtle Beach golf tournament because of the world-wide impression of Myrtle Beach as a top golf destination with a multitude of fun area activities to do off-course.
