That’s One Big Guitar
Hard Rock Theme Park has made a little more progress with the addition of a giant guitar icon that was unveiled this past Thursday afternoon. The largest Gibson guitar in the world will sit in the main entrance sections and be one of the first things visitors see as they walk into the park. At 70-feet tall, the icon will play a large roll in the nighttime laser, pyrotechnic and fireworks shows from atop the 600-square-foot Gibson retail store (which will feature various guitars for sale, including the self-tuning Robot design). The park is scheduled to open on May 9, 2008. Ticket prices will be $50.
