Wildfires Ending, Back to the Beach

With the fires contained to 100%, clean-up across the 4-mile stretch (about 31 square miles) is underway. A few roads remain closed as needs for repair and rebuilding is assessed. None of the resorts, entertainment sites, or golf courses was directly affected, though the some of the Barefoot Landing courses sustained some scorching of rough areas and wooden bridges. No coastal areas were threatened.
