Hard Rock Theme Park
The Hard Rock Café theme park opening in Myrtle Beach next April, already has a few new stand-out employees. The group is actually a family of teddy bear mascots that have a real thing for heavy metal. Maiden Mom, Heavy Dad, Glam Gal and Speed Boy made their big premiere at the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions Expo in Orlando this week. Posing for pictures and pretending to play music on their always-present instruments, the quad of fuzzy rockers delighted the audience with personable antics and snazzy rock outfits. The bears will perform three-minute shows at the theme park throughout each day, and also make appearances at set times. At the Orlando event, speakers stressed the importance of park mascots and the public relations they may provide outside of the park's walls. Hard Rock Theme park officials have hinted that more mascots may be on the way, but you may have to wait until your Myrtle Beach vacation at the park to find out for yourself.
