Fall Has Arrived - And So Have the Festive Decorations!
We've decorated the guest services desk, Just Off Main, and all your favorite common areas with festive autumn decor to celebrate the season. From cozy pumpkins to warm fall colors, the resort has a welcoming fall feel. Be sure to take a stroll and soak in the seasonal touches!
Over the Edge Event was a Huge Success at Avista Resort
We are thrilled to share that the recent Over the Edge event, held at Avista Resort in partnership with New Directions, was an incredible success!
On September 7th, 2024, brave participants rappelled from the top of our 17-story resort, all for a great cause. Thanks to the dedication and generosity of those involved, an impressive $68,000 was raised for New Directions - a local organization providing critical support to individuals in our community facing homelessness, poverty, and addiction.
We were honored to host this year's event, and we are grateful to everyone who donated, participated, and supported New Directions' important mission.
Lending a Hand: Avista Resort's Initiative for Hurricane Relief
At Avista Resort, we've been deeply inspired by the generosity of our team and guests in response to Hurricanes Helene and Milton. The outpouring of support has been incredible as we all come together to aid those in need.
We've been collecting donations of non-perishable food, hygiene products, cleaning supplies, and other essential items to help provide relief to those in need. Your generosity is making a real impact on the lives of those who have experienced significant loss.
To further support those displaced, we are offering special rates for temporary accommodations through November 14, 2024, and have recently received FEMA approval. If you or someone you know is in need of a safe and welcoming place to stay during this challenging time, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Reservations are highly recommended, with three seating times available at 11AM, 1PM and 3PM.

Hula Fire Show: A Unique Experience for your Group!

A Commitment to Inclusivity: Champion Autism Network Certification
We are proud to announce that Avista Resort has recently achieved certification with the Champion Autism Network as an autism-friendly resort. This certification reflects our commitment to creating an inclusive environment for all families, including those with children on the spectrum.
More than 70% of our staff has completed specialized training to better understand and support the unique needs of these families. Our aim is to foster a welcoming atmosphere where everyone can feel at ease. From our peaceful beachfront views to our quiet spaces, we strive to provide a calm, sensory-friendly experience that allows families to relax and enjoy their time together.
