SkyWheel gets a Facelift
The Myrtle Beach SkyWheel first opened about ten years ago, and to celebrate its 10th anniversary, the SkyWheel went under renovation at the beginning of the year. It was taken entirely apart where it was sent off to Kansas to get a facelift. This included new paint, new flooring, and new seat coverings inside the gondolas. The SkyWheel also received a facelift on the outside with new exterior lights.
Whats New
Along with the Myrtle Beach SkyWheel getting a new look, it also has some new things that your family will love as well. Kicking off each night at dusk will be a 15-minute light show which is a neat thing to see. Then every hour, your family can see a 5-minute light show on the wheel until it's time to close. The SkyWheel is open year-round and is safe for everyone to go on, including infants, moms to be and the elderly.
